*San Felipe* is one of the 1733 Plate Fleet disaster shipwrecks. It is located off Lower Matecumbe Key on Florida's sovereign submerged lands in Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. The shipwreck's exposed iron fittings and fastenings including its cannons and anchors were salvaged contemporaneously with its wrecking and during the 1960s and 1970s by treasure hunters. *San Felipe* has a relatively intact ballast pile in comparison to other 1733 Plate Fleet shipwrecks.
