The Pont Julien is a Roman stone arch bridge constructed in 3 BCE. The bridge is located along the ancient Via Domitia, a Roman road that connected Narbonne in southern France with Turin in northern Italy.
The bridge remained part of the road network until 2005, when a new bridge was constructed alongside it to carry modern car traffic. Which effectively means that the Pont Julien was in use for more than 2000 years, which is pretty crazy when you think about it.
