3D scan of a trash can created using smartphone photography. The photographs were processed and optimized in Adobe Lightroom before being imported into RealityScan, where the 3D model was reconstructed through photogrammetry.
The resulting model contained millions of points, so mesh decimation was applied in Blender to significantly reduce the polygon count while preserving the main shape and details. The final model was also processed in Blender with a PBR material setup to improve its visual realism and prepare it for real-time 3D visualization.
