A late medieval double-arch of what is now the chancel arch at Aghmacart Church (Church of Ireland), but the church has a north-south orientation, so the arch is not in its original location. According to Carrigan (1905, vol. 2, 238-9), Bishop R. Pococke (bishop of Ossory 1756-65) had the church built from the chancel of the old church. Other sources say that the original church was demolished in 1640 (O'Hanlon and O'Leary 1907, vol. 1, 177). The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage (NIAH) says the present church was built c.1820.
Unfortunately, the model is somewhat incomplete, and another visit is necessary for a better result.
