Some energy moons in Super Mario Odyssey require you to complete specific mini-games. For example, there’s one that requires you to jump rope a certain amount of times, or you know, there’s another one where you control an RC car, and the Super Mario Kart theme plays. Those mini-games are awesome, but the best part is that the game tracks your time and compares you to other players online via leaderboards.
