Lord X is an entity originating from the void, a place of darkness and silence. He was accidentally created from colliding energy and gained sentience. Lord X is a manipulative and sadistic character who enjoys tormenting his victims, often through strange and inescapable situations. He sees himself as a being who can manipulate, torture, and control humans, believing they belong to him. Lord X is an older, more malevolent incarnation of 2011X (his future self), and he takes on the appearance of Sonic to interact with his world. In this song, he says that he misses the quiet of the void, but enjoys his new state of being as a tormentor, just for fun.
