The safety barriers are designed to physically separate the robot's operating area from the surrounding workspace, helping to prevent unauthorized access to the hazardous area while the robot is in operation.
This image represents a section of the palletizing cell, including the industrial robot and two elements of the safety barrier system. The complete cell would also include the remaining perimeter protection, access points, safety devices and the equipment required for the automatic palletizing process.
