The Cleaver King - high school physics teacher

The Cleaver King is a feared figure in carnival folklore, said to wander abandoned fairgrounds long after the crowds have vanished. Witnesses describe a massive shirtless man with an immense, barrel-like body, stained skin, and filthy trousers hanging from worn suspenders. His face bears a permanent grin stretching unnaturally wide, revealing rows of broken, yellowed teeth blackened with age and neglect. In his enormous hand he carries a butcher's cleaver nearly the size of a shovel, dragging its blade across the ground wherever he walks. According to legend, the sound of metal scraping dirt is often heard moments before he appears from the darkness. Former carnival workers claimed the Cleaver King was once a star attraction whose appetite and violence grew beyond control. Though no evidence supports the tale, many travellers still avoid abandoned circus grounds after sunset, fearing they may hear the scrape of the blade and see the grin waiting in the shadows.
