Benomyl (C14H18N4O3, CAS 17804-35-2) — a free educational 3D molecular model for teachers and students, by MolGod.org. Instead of colour coding, every sphere carries its engraved element symbol.
Turn the model in your hand to see the shape of Benomyl: two rings (one 5-membered and one 6-membered), fused along a shared edge, both aromatic, and 40 bonds in total (28 single, 2 double and 10 aromatic). Quick starter: ask students to count the engraved symbols (14 C + 18 H + 4 N + 3 O) and check that they add up to 39 atoms and the formula C14H18N4O3. When you discuss intermolecular forces, note 2 hydrogen-bond donors and 4 acceptors (computed).
