1993 Jaguar XJ220 GT1

The Jaguar XJ220 GT1 is a high-performance track-focused supercar and design study developed by British design firm Callum (led by original XJ220 co-designer Ian Callum). Unveiled as a conceptual and engineering evolution of the legendary 1990s Jaguar XJ220 supercar, the GT1 honors the vehicle's historic motorsport heritage, specifically the 1993 XJ220-C Le Mans racers—while integrating modern aerodynamic engineering, materials, and powertrain enhancements. The original Jaguar XJ220, produced from 1992 to 1994, was briefly the fastest production car in the world. In 1993, Jaguar developed three racing variants known as the XJ220-C to compete in the GT class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, famously winning their class on the track before a controversial technical disqualification regarding exhausts.
