Cyclohexane (C6H12, CAS 110-82-7) — a free educational 3D molecular model for teachers and students, by MolGod.org. Every atom carries its engraved element symbol (C, H, O, N...), so no colour key is needed.
At its heart, Cyclohexane is built around one 6-membered ring. The model shows 18 bonds: all of them single. Counting task: 6 C + 12 H gives 18 engraved spheres; can the class rebuild the formula C6H12 from the model alone? It makes cycloalkanes (saturated carbon rings) and tetrahedral (sp3) carbon easier to see. All carbons are sp3-hybridised, so each one is a tetrahedral centre.
