G17 Gen 5 9mm Handgun fitted with steel OEM night sights and an Olight PL-2 Valkyrie flashlight. This is the same configuration used by the New South Wales Police Force (NSW Police Force or NSWPF) in Australia.
In 2024, NSW Police started replacing their ageing G22 Gen 3 and Gen 4 handguns in .40 cal for the G17 Gen 5 in 9mm, including the compact and sub-compact counterpart variants. Interestingly, the 17 round 9mm magazines are in FDE finish instead of black. This could be a way of distinguishing the old .40 cal magazines easily in the police armoury. NSW Police Officers also started to get issued with a flashlight for their sidearms as well. With the one reference image I found confirming it being a Chinese made Olight brand.
