The Dallara F312 is an open-wheel racing car developed by Italian manufacturer Dallara for use in Formula 3 categories. Introduced in 2012 to comply with the FIA's updated safety and technical regulations, the chassis became the dominant backbone of regional and international Formula 3 championships across the globe, including the prestigious FIA Formula 3 European Championship, British Formula 3, and the Macau Grand Prix.
Designed by a team led by Dallara's chief engineers, the F312 was a clean-sheet redesign compared to its predecessor, the F308. The car was engineered around strict financial cost caps imposed by the FIA while incorporating heavily updated safety structures and advanced aerodynamics.
