Mario Kart 64 ROM is a fast-paced kart racing game that combines popular characters from the Mario universe for chaotic, competitive fun. With colorful tracks, iconic power-ups, and multiplayer action, players race over inventive courses while using things such as shells, bananas, and lightning bolts to get an advantage over opponents.
# Game Features
* Mario Kart 64 ROM Hacks transitioned from Mode 7 (2D) to 3D, allowing for more diverse topography, including as bridges, tunnels, and dramatic verticality in courses like Banshee Boardwalk and Koopa Troopa Beach.
* It was the first game in the series to support up to four players on a split-screen, which drastically altered home multiplayer.
* Races are divided into four cups: Mushroom, Flower, Star, and Special, for a total of 16 unique three-lap courses.
* Includes the infamous Blue Spiny Shell (intended to hit the top player), Triple Green Shells, and more.
