How to print it right.

Print at 100%

Choose "Actual size" — never "Fit to page". The files are already the right physical size.

Sticker paper

Use the PNGs on full-sheet vinyl sticker paper or printable label stock. Glossy vinyl holds the dark ground best.

Laminate for the shop

Resin, solvent, coolant and filament dust ruin paper. Laminate, or print on waterproof vinyl.

Make it, don't print it

You're a fabricator. Laser-engrave the ink-saver plate on anodised aluminium, or cut the round badge from acrylic and back it with the PNG.

Keep the QR clean

The code needs its white tile and quiet zone. Don't recolour it, don't crop it, and keep it at least 0.8 in wide.

Any machine counts

3D printer, laser, CNC, vinyl cutter, embroidery, sewing, kiln, casting, electronics bench, woodshop. If it's listed, it's a Spool Lister.

The rules
  • Badges are for makers with a live listing on The Spool List. If your machine isn't listed, list it first — it's free.
  • Don't alter the logo, colours or wording. Scale is fine; recolouring, stretching and adding your own text on the badge are not.
  • The badge tells buyers where to book you. It isn't an endorsement, certification or guarantee of your work.
  • Payments stay on the platform — payment is protected until the buyer confirms delivery. A badge is not an invitation to deal off-platform.
